New interview and review in Lords of Metal

Photobucket
Bassist, Paul, recently took part in an interview with Dutch metal e-zine Lords of Metal. The interview details everything from the background and creative process to the artwork and tour-plans for Time Without Light.
Lords of Metal also reviewed the EP. Follow the links below for the full story.

Menno: After the release of their first, self-titled, EP, the Swedish doom-formation The Deadists has released yet another EP, ‘Time Without Light’. How this new piece compares to their earlier work I cannot analyze. However, what I can analyze is the amount of heaviness portrayed on ‘Time Without Light’. Vocalist Joacim Axelsson sounds like a revitalized Tom G Warrior as his band shits out one heavy riff after another for a mere thirty minutes. The Deadists is not your regular stoner/doom band but has songs and riffs that compel and make the listener feel genuinely evil, the best example of this would be the lengthy and aggressive ‘Infinite Self’. I say bring on a full-length!
